My passion for art led to my Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Towson University and my Master of Arts in Art Education from The Maryland Institute College of Art. I was certified to teach art K-12 and taught for seven years. I became a stay-at-home mom and later began my current newborn and family photography business. Rebecca Leigh Studio is another dream in the making to continue to teach art lessons.
I had a clear vision of my life as an artist from the time I was young. My first art studio was my self-proclaimed corner in our unfinished basement when I was in elementary school. Although I now have a more sophisticated art studio space in my home, nothing has changed when it comes to the number of art projects circulating around the room...except that there's probably more!
