full product details
As we traveled up the winding mountain road through subalpine forests, the wind was chilly and the views below were vast. Not long before we visited, much of the land was covered in snow and still some patches remained as the beauty began to take its shape. Around each corner we found a new treasure, a gorgeous blue lake, an emerald lake, and rocky, tree lined mountainous views. This place is a history lesson that tells us about this area long long ago. To think, "hey, how did that rock get there?," and learn that it was the work of glacial movement. Then the ice melted and this is what was left behind. And to gaze out upon the valleys and look towards the sky to see a perfect sliver of setting sunlight create a starburst through the alpines, felt like a gift.
